So this is a twist on the traditional pizza dish! This helps break the monotony of picking up the usual pepperoni pizza from your local pizza joint. This is a pleaser for even the pickiest of eaters!!
You Will Need:
2 cans of home style refrigerated original biscuits
1 can of pizza sauce
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 small package of pepperoni slices
How To Make It:
Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 13x9 inch ( 3 quarts) baking dish with cooking spray
Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. In a large bowl, toss the pizza sauce and 1 cup of cheese with the biscuit pieces. Pour mixture into baking dish and top with pepperoni and remaining
1 cup of cheese
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
*Always make sure to test the middle! Sometimes the biscuits may still be mushy and need additional time to cook*
And viola! Dinner is served.
